Day 2: Avoid Selfishness

¤ What are two things that should not be in your heart? (See Philippians 2:3a, selfishness and pride)
¤ How do you avoid them? (See Philippians 2:3b, humility, & Philippians 2:2)
¤ How can you be thoughtful? (See Philippians 2:4) Give examples.
Day 3: The Greatest Commands
¤ Review Memory Verse & Definition
¤ Have you ever heard of “The Golden Rule”?
¤ What is it? (See Matthew 7:12) What does it mean?
¤ What did Jesus say were the two most important commandments? (Read Mark 12:29-31, Love God, love people)
¤ Read Mark 12:31 again. How are The Golden Rule and this great commandment the same?
Optional: The story of The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)
Day 4: Ways to be Thoughtful
¤ Review Memory Verse & Definition
¤ What are ways we can be thoughtful?
¤ (See Romans 15:1-2, helping the weak: those who don’t have what we have or know what we know)
¤ (See Ephesians 4:29, saying good things, not bad things)
¤ (See Philippians 4:8, being careful of thoughts in your mind)
Day 5: Why be Thoughtful
¤ Review Memory Verse & Definition
¤ Why should we be thoughtful?
¤ (See Colossians 3:17, to serve Jesus)
¤ (See John 14:15, to show that we love Jesus)
¤ (See 1 Corinthians 10:33 (NIrV), so others can be saved or know Jesus)
