Day 2: Disobedience

¤ What is the opposite of obedience? (Sin)
¤ What is sin? (Disobedience to God's law)
¤ Why is it wrong to disobey? (Open discussion)
¤ What is the consequence? (Be clear about family’s discipline structure)
¤ What should you do if you disobey? (Ask forgiveness from the person and God)
Day 3: Discipline
¤ Review Memory Verse & Definition
¤ What is discipline? (Use a dictionary.)
¤ Why is it important? (Proverbs 3:11-12)
¤ What are the benefits of discipline? (See Psalm 94:12-13)
¤ What would happen if there were no discipline? (Use your imaginations)
Day 4: Honor your parents
¤ Review Memory Verse & Definition
¤ Why should you obey your parents? (Open discussion)
¤ Who gave your parents authority over you? (God)
¤ What does God say about obeying your parents? (See Ephesians 6:1-3)
¤ What are the benefits of obeying? (Things will go well, have a long life)
Day 5: Obey Authority
¤ Review Memory Verse & Definition
¤ What is authority? (Use a dictionary)
¤ Who is in authority over you? (Church leadership—Hebrews 13:17, Governmental leaders—I Peter 2:13, Elders (adults older than you)—I Peter 5:5)
¤ Why do you think God asks us to obey authority? (Open discussion)
